a little piece of summer

It happens every year. When spring starts to appear in some parts of the world and wonderful pictures of blossoms and blue sky starts to appear on Flickr, i try to be patient and wait. Sometimes i wait as long as until the end of January, sometimes it is as late as February. This year i told to myself to be modest, stay calm, take pictures of ridiculous amounts of snow that are still here, take pictures of sad bare trees and patiently wait for spring. Living in Norway i know very well when there is too early to start wait for spring (which is, not before Easter). No matter how hard i tried or even that i waited until the middle March to start waiting for spring, i noticed myself quietly going into my archives for some colorful pictures, for blossoms, flowers and blue sky. I know we still have lots of snow and probably one more month with winter, but, really, there is nothing wrong in missing spring, summer and flowers.
