something new

Another thing i wanted to tell you is that i invested in something pretty and kind of photography related. if you follow me long enough, you know that i rarely update my photography equipment unless it is an 20$ vintage film camera or a film roll i do not spend any money at all. sometimes i get emails asking about any equipment related advice and i don't know what to say, because i have so little experience myself ! i kind of believe photography is all about training eyes and not about the equipment or accessories, but that would be another blog post, right? :) anyway, i bought myself an epiphanie camera bag. YES, one of these so famous bags! i had my eyes on these bags since they launched, that would be about three years or some more. it had never been a question what bag i would like to have, it was just that i was determined not to spend any money on this until the right time comes.I used to carry my camera in my purse, wrapped in any hat i would found first. relatively ok for one camera with small lense but a bit risky for two or for additional lense. We have one camera bag that we use for familly travelling but it is black, sportive and for men, i think, additionally it screams i am packed with camera.  i did not started to make any big money now but i decided i waited long enough, i want this bag anyway, i want it so much and i need it so much for safe travelling and for photo sessions, i just had to have it. Brown Ginger, i did not need to think twice about that either. Tara Whitney has one and look at her photos :) not that i would believe it helps her in any way, but you may want to take a look at her blog. her photos makes my eyes teary whenever i visit her site. My bag got a bit expensive with shipping and taxes and all that, but many good things are, right? :) It is worth it - stylish, women camera bag. it looks so pretty. It is amazing, what i love most about it, that it does not scream camera bag at all, it looks so so very like any other purse. very good big purse. last saturday we had a dinner party with a photo session and i packed my camera, two lenses, a bag of candies, few diapers, lots of small personal stuff and a bottle of wine. I can not imagine packing so much and so safely in any other bag that would still look casual and not overload at all:)
