comforts of my home, pleasure of my favorite things and inspiration

something you should know about me, i love photography, books and knitting, all of them a lot. knitting is the activity that had been neglected for so so long...i used to be one of those that knits a lot, knit all the time. but life has been a bit hectic lately. in fact, i can not remember the last time i had needles in my hands. we moved to a new (new to us...) house in the middle of this winter and it has been a lot of pleasure and a lot of work to keep it the place that we can call home. i've been involved in several big projects, that i never did before, painting and gardening just to name a few....of course, what comes with a house, that one also becomes very interested in interior, design and decoration, all the things that makes hose a comfortable cozy home. not to mention flea markets, antique furniture hunting and then painting and renovating :) and so much time that i spend with books and photography, especially now when summer and kids are at home, you can only imagine, knitting has been the last thing on my mind. it was, until i saw the pictures of what Maegan from Madeline Bea knits. (and haven't i mentioned, i love every single one photo she takes). she made me realize how much i missed knitting, how much i missed having needles in my hands. she was my inspiration. the morning after i went to search for the yarn and started to knit immediately. what hopefully will become a little cardigan for my little girl :)

  1. This is so beautiful. I love the color. I don't know how to knit, but hope to learn someday. I have only recently been trying to teach myself to crochet.
Lovely photos of your project too. :-)
